Reliability Engineer – Fixed Equipment
Our client, located in The Woodlands, TX, is in need of a Reliability Engineer-Fixed Equipment for a Direct Hire opportunity.

This is an opportunity to join an established company that continues to grow.  This chemical company is the 2nd and 3rd largest producer, respectively, in the Americas for their specific products, and has won multiple awards for Safety and Environmental Excellence.  They sit in a beautiful office in The Woodlands business district yet maintain a global reach. 

Your Role:
This position will support 5 different plants in the United States and 1 in South America
Will be responsible for traveling to each plan approximately 2 times per year
Responsible for working with Process Safety Engineers and Maintenance technicians at each of these facilities to execute the goals and plans
This person will be the product asset integrity subject matter expert for fixed equipment, including all codes and local regulations
Lead all asset integrity audits
Analyze inspection plans and reports and develop improvement plan
Implement repair plans 
Develop and implement all of the standards, manuals, work processes, procedures etc. that will improve asset integrity performance
Provide guidance and expertise on piping and fixed equipment specifications.
Manage and Implement the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS)
Manage the Basic Process Control inspection program
Manage the Safety Instrumented System program
Conduct Risk Based Inspection (RBI) assessments
Train internal inspectors and plant engineers to understand codes, standards and inspection methods
This position has no direct reports

Background Profile:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science Engineering is required
5+ years of petrochemical or chemical industry experience
5+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer or in asset integrity or mechanical integrity roles
Working knowledge of ASME, NACE, API 570/510/653 and other applicable industry codes and standards
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with individuals in other departments and remote locations to drive improvements
Must be able to travel approximately 2 to 3 days per month, on average
