Our customer focused client in Bedford, TX is looking for an HR Administrative Assistant on a 3 month contract basis, with the possibility of becoming contract to hire.

HR Administrative Assistant Role:
The HR Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR Director.
Responsible for administrative support including calendaring, scheduling appointments, and screening phone calls
Liaison between the Director and those needing to meet with the director
Will provide assistance with all aspects in HR including benefits, compliance, recruiting and payroll
Manage the Director’s needs to keep the Director prepared and organized
Provide assistance to employees when they have questions, inquiries, and employment related by directing them to the proper HR resource
Maintain all employee personnel files (physical and electronic), scanning and organization of the information
Work closely with confidential information
Record and create minutes of all HR departmental meetings, making sure all action items are documented and who is completing or executing that item, then following up with the Director to make sure items have been completed
Complete all employment verifications
Handle all external correspondence
Represent the Director at low-level meetings with the Director is unavailable
Handle bi-weekly payroll audit and 401K audit
Maintain all operational budgetary information for the Director to review and monitor
Assist with New Hire Training materials such as handbooks, benefits packets, name tags, etc.
Responsible for the Director’s and the department’s expense reports and submitting through Concur
Handle HR supply inventory and order supplies monthly
Assist with the planning of employee functions including luncheons, blood drives, employee appreciation week, etc.
Maintain organizational charts
Create and distribute various reports including anniversary and birthday reports, tenure award reports, etc.


HR Administrative Assistant Background Profile:
High School Diploma or equivalent
College degree is a plus
3+ years of administrative experience in an HR department is preferred
Working with a Director or VP of HR is desired, but at minimum working with a Director or VP level
Background in HR a plus
Some payroll experience 
Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite – Specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Excel experience needs to include ability to do filters, sorting, and modifying cells
Strong calendaring experience and skills in Outlook
Familiar with HR and employment laws
Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize 
Strong organizational skills and detail -oriented skills
Must be assertive with a strong work ethic
Able to work independently and handle complex situations
Able to maintain confidentiality
People person and enjoys working with people
