Job Description



Our Houston, TX client is on the hunt to bring on a Help Desk Support Agent on a contract to possible hire basis for their growing oil and gas firm. 

Company Profile:

Mid-sized oil and gas operations firm

Headquartered in West Houston

Help Desk Support Agent Role:

The Help Desk / Desktop Support Tech is responsible for trouble shooting software issues with Microsoft Windows, Citrix and Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as installation and deployment of new computer hardware and software through an imaging system.
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues with networks, computer hardware, printing.
Coordinate escalations due to telecom and network issues to third party contractors.
Managing incident and problem tracking through an I.T. Service Management application.

Ability to support users outside of the office too.

Help Desk Support Agent Background Profile:

Intermediate P.C. hardware knowledge
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10
Basic networking concepts
CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ desired.

Some college or technical school training preferred
