Job Description



My AMAZING client in Dallas, TX is looking to hire a Desktop / Network Support Specialist on a direct hire basis.

Desktop / Network Support Specialist: 

  • Provide support for the Credit Union Core system 
  • Work Trouble Tickets
  • Maintain Active Directory Infrastructure
  • Assist with new hire setups including accounts in active directory & exchange, as well as workstation configuration
  • Install, configure and test new servers, workstations, software, and peripherals
  • Manage user requests using an online helpdesk ticketing system 
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
  • Escalate and track complex issues with the appropriate vendor
  • Maintain software patches using WSUS and Update Manager for VMWare
  • Test system updates
  • Maintain good vendor relationships


Desktop / Network Support Specialist Profile:
Degree HIGHLY Preferred 
Datasafe experience HIGHLY Preferred 
Financial industry experience HIGHLY Preferred 
Prior knowledge of Active Directory  and Windows server environments 
Previous experience with PC, Server, and peripheral hardware
Knowledge of reporting and database structure p 
MUST be able to pass a credit / background check 
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and fluctuations in workflow
Must be able to field incoming help requests via all communication channels and effectively understand the problem and resolve.
