Leading Healthcare client in the Plano, TX area is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative on a contract to possible hire basis.

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Role:
The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will handle calls from members and providers regarding limited medical benefit plans.
Answer questions and handle problem resolution on benefit, provider or claim issues
Escalate calls to the Claims Department as necessary
Spend approximately 90% of time on phones, averaging 70-90 calls per day
Follow up with members and providers as necessary
Process coverage changes and send out supporting documentation as required
Other related duties as assigned

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Background Profile:
High school diploma required and a college degree is a plus
2+ years’ experience as a bilingual customer service representative
Experience handling medical benefit and claims inquiries preferred
Must be Fluent- Spanish/ English
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong PC Skills- Word and Excel required
Must possess a desire to help people
Respond well to a stressful, dynamic environment
Flexible, uses critical thinking skills and open to learning new ideas/skills
Team player with a positive attitude
