Our client in Fort Worth, TX is looking for an AMI Utilities Technical Analyst on a direct hire basis.

AMI Utilities Technical Analyst Role:
The AMI Utilities Technical Analyst will wear many hats and be involved in multiple phases of on-going projects.
You will handle the ongoing technical support and field support of the advanced metering service. 
You will provide onsite technical support of the AMI Network and support utility operations.
Troubleshoot, establish and maintain AMI Network performance
Be available 24/7 for troubleshooting alarms
Regarding the AMI Network, you will handle interference issues, perform annual maintenance for the sites, and maintain the firmware updates and patches
Support the utility’s growth by deploying additional AMI Network infrastructure
Provide training and support in all areas inclusive of AMI Network
Work closely with the team to identify and troubleshoot endpoint communication issues and endpoint alerts, as well as identify best procedures and practices for operating the AMI system at top performance
You will assist the team with configuration of AMI software and other integrations including Sensus Flexnet, Harris SmartWorks MDMS, and Sensus FieldLogic
Handle over the air broadcast for endpoint updates and configuration changes, and create and maintain endpoint configuration profiles
Work in the field to provide troubleshooting and resolution of operations and service issues
Support deployment of the AMI solution through providing assistance to the utility to develop future business, develop best operating practices, and configure AMI software
Develop reports and data extracts related to AMI solution

AMI Utilities Technical Analyst Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred 
Ability to work in the office as well as in the field
5+ years’ experience with implementing and/or supporting utility AMI solutions
10+ years’ experience in related technology
Advanced MS Office skills 
Strong Business Analyst skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong technical writing skills; previous experience with documenting processes and procedures, developing training material
Comfortable with facilitating meetings, creating presentations, and delivering training to large audiences
The ideal candidate will also have experience with Sensus products and software, Harris SmartWorks MDMS software, and water or electric utility operations or utility systems.
Experience with developing reports with relational database systems, re-engineering experience and software integration project experience
